Nate Downey will stress the gains of green gardening, such as beauty, shade, privacy and wind protection and focus on the joys gardening gives families, friends and neighbors. Nate Downey, author of Harvest the Rain (Sunstone Press, 2010), is president of Santa Fe Permaculture, an ecological landscaping firm he founded in 1992, and has written a monthly column called “Permaculture in Practice” for the Santa Fe New Mexican since 1998.

Bill Jackel, Bernalillo Production Manager and container garden expert. And Bob Ross is a local Landscape Architect & Garden Consultant. Both garden experts will be on site to personally help with container garden design ideas. We’ll even have "container potting bar" to build your gardens on the spot.
